# Directions:

01 - Combine softened butter, finely chopped chives, and Dijon mustard in a small bowl; mix until smooth.
02 - Spread a thin layer of the herbed butter on one side of each bread slice.
03 - Place a slice of ham and a slice of cheese on six bread slices, then top each with a buttered slice, butter side down, to form sandwiches.
04 - Using a Christmas tree-shaped cookie cutter, cut each sandwich into tree shapes; save scraps for another use.
05 - Insert a cocktail stick through each mini sandwich stack and top with a cherry tomato or olive as the tree topper.
06 - Place the mini sandwich trees on a platter, garnish with parsley or dill sprigs, and serve immediately.
