# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • It's genuinely foolproof, which means you can focus on enjoying people instead of stressing over timing.
  • Your kitchen smells like toasted marshmallows and melted chocolate without the mess of individual s'mores.
  • Everyone gravitates toward it, whether they claim to have a sweet tooth or not.
02 -
  • Don't skip the butter—it transforms chocolate chips into something silky and luxurious, which changes everything about the final texture.
  • Keep an eye on those marshmallows because they can go from golden-toasted to slightly burnt in the span of one song, so watch them the first time you make this.
03 -
  • Use a kitchen thermometer on your skillet handle so you know exactly when it comes out of the oven—burn marks on your mitts aren't worth avoiding an oven mitt check.
  • If you're making this ahead of time, you can prep all the components and toast everything right before guests arrive so the warmth and texture are perfect.
