# Directions:

03 - Heat skillet over medium heat, cook smoked sausage slices for 3 to 4 minutes until lightly browned, then remove and set aside.
04 - In the same skillet, sauté onion and bell pepper for 3 to 4 minutes until softened, add garlic and cook for 1 additional minute.
05 - Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat, whisk in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually add milk, whisking continuously until sauce thickens, about 3 to 4 minutes.
