Express Holiday Spinach Dip Bowl (Printable Version)

03 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened

05 - 1/2 cup mayonnaise (approximately 4.2 oz)
06 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (about 3.5 oz)
07 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (approximately 2.1 oz)
08 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
09 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
10 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
11 - 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

12 - 1 red bell pepper, diced (optional for garnish)
13 - Reserved sourdough bread pieces or assorted crackers and fresh vegetables for dipping

# Directions:

01 - Set the oven temperature to 350°F (180°C) to prepare for baking.
02 - Slice the top off the sourdough loaf and hollow out the center, leaving a 1-inch thick bread shell to form a bowl. Reserve the scooped bread pieces for dipping.
03 - In a mixing bowl, thoroughly blend spinach, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, mozzarella, Parmesan, minced garlic, nutmeg, salt, and black pepper until smooth and uniform.
04 - Spoon the prepared spinach mixture evenly into the hollowed bread loaf. Optionally, sprinkle diced red bell pepper on top for color.
05 - Place the filled bread bowl on a baking tray and bake for 20 minutes or until the dip is hot, bubbly, and the bread crust is lightly crisped.
06 - Remove from oven and immediately serve with reserved bread pieces, crackers, or fresh vegetables for dipping.
