# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • The marinade is so forgiving you can prep it in the morning and forget about it until dinner.
  • Everything tastes better when you can hold it in your hands and eat it without a fork.
  • It's one of those meals that looks impressive but comes together faster than ordering takeout.
02 -
  • If you're using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling or they'll catch fire and you'll be left with charcoal sticks.
  • Don't press down on the chicken with your spatula while it's grilling, you'll squeeze out all the juices and end up with dry meat.
03 -
  • Let the chicken come to room temperature for 15 minutes before grilling so it cooks evenly and stays tender.
  • If you don't have a grill, a cast-iron skillet works just as well, just get it screaming hot first.
