01 - 4 slices sourdough or white sandwich bread
02 - 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese (or preferred melting cheese)
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

04 - 2 tablespoons everything bagel seasoning
# Directions:
01 - Spread a thin, even layer of softened butter on one side of each bread slice.
02 - Generously sprinkle everything bagel seasoning on the buttered side of each slice, pressing gently to adhere.
03 - Flip over two slices of bread and layer 2 slices of cheese on each; top with the remaining slices, seasoned side facing outward.
04 - Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium heat.
05 - Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
06 - Remove sandwiches, allow to cool slightly, slice, and serve immediately.
