# Ingredient List:
→ Main
01 - 2 cups cooked leftover spaghetti
02 - 1 large egg
03 - 1/2 cup marinara sauce
04 - 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
05 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley, optional
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
08 - Salt and black pepper, to taste
→ Breading
09 - 1 cup Italian-style breadcrumbs
10 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
→ For Frying
11 - Vegetable oil, for shallow frying
# Directions:
01 - In a large bowl, combine cooked spaghetti, egg, marinara sauce, mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, and Italian herbs. Season with salt and pepper, then mix until evenly blended.
02 - Using hands, form the mixture into golf ball-sized balls, pressing firmly so they hold together.
03 - Mix breadcrumbs and Parmesan in a shallow bowl. Roll each spaghetti ball in the breadcrumb mixture, pressing gently to adhere.
04 - Pour approximately 1/2 inch of vegetable oil into a large skillet and heat over medium.
05 - Arrange the breaded spaghetti balls in batches in the skillet. Fry, turning occasionally, until all sides are golden and crisp, about 2-3 minutes per batch.
06 - Transfer cooked bites to a plate lined with paper towels to remove excess oil.
07 - Serve the bites hot with additional marinara sauce for dipping, if desired.
